Warner Bros. Discovery seeks an Assistant Manager, Tour Operations for Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. This position is part of a team of assistant managers and is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of service for our guests and managing the quality of service from our team members. Under the direction of the Manager, Director, and VP/GM, the team of assistant managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Tour. Responsibilities include budgeting and controlling acquisition of inventory parts, equipment, and electronic components to minimize downtime; serving as Duty Manager on weekends with key-holder responsibilities; ensuring employees are informed of company news and studio activity; overseeing staffing plans including breaks, lunches, scheduling, and time off requests; overseeing preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, and aesthetics of the Studio Tour’s fleet of carts; maintaining detailed maintenance records; analyzing repair/maintenance records to identify failure trends and communicating with vendors and manufacturers; ensuring safe operation of all fleet carts per manufacturer specifications, local laws, and safety protocols; and providing nuanced training for tour guides, shuttle team, and dispatchers. Qualifications include 1-2 years experience in visitor attraction leadership or equivalent hospitality/restaurant/retail leadership, minimum high school diploma or equivalent, experience with fleet management, working knowledge of vehicle mechanics a plus, experience in training and development of personnel, vendor management preferred, experience with invoice systems a plus, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to deal effectively with team members, executives, guests, and vendors, self-reliance and motivation, knowledge of communication devices, proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and excellent attention to detail.
